Dental Hygienist - Bowen Dental Group - Ceredo, WV

Responsibilities:

Prepares treatment room for patients according to procedures and protocols.

Greets patients and prepares them for oral examinations. Screens patients for appropriate information.

Cleans, keeps, and sterilizes dental instruments, trays, etc.

Examines gums, removes calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth and beneath gums. Applies preventive materials to the teeth.

Charts condition of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.

Educates patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health including tooth brushing, flossing, and nutrition.

Takes and develops dental radiographs (x-rays).

Makes impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.

Maintains a clean, attractive work area and keeps clinical areas stocked with appropriate supplies.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
