Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help patients achieve optimal oral health.
Responsibilities
· Conduct initial patient screenings and assess oral health conditions
· Clean and polish patients' teeth, removing plaque and stains
· Take dental X-rays
· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
· Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
· Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized patient care plans
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
· Stay current with the latest dental hygiene techniques and advancements
Qualifications
· Valid Dental Hygiene license
· Associate degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
· Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Proficiency in dental software and digital X-ray systems
· CPR certification
