We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist in creating a positive dental experience. We give 1 full hour for adult prophylaxis appointments.
**Duties:**
- Conduct oral health assessments
- Accurately chart each patient’s periodontal health
- Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis for patients
- Perform scaling, root planing and selective polishing for patients as appropriate
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Administer local anesthetics
- Take digital radiographs
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Implement infection control protocols
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures
- Collaborate with the dental team for patient care
- Schedule patients for hygiene visits and treatment
- HIPAA & OSHA compliance
**Qualifications:**
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- WI licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers
* Experience or knowledge with myofunctional therapy is a bonus
