Job Summary: The Dental Hygienist will provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, including preventive and therapeutic services. This role involves working closely with the dentist and other team members to ensure optimal patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Examinations: Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and taking dental radiographs (X-rays).
Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, the importance of preventive care, and post-treatment care instructions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dentist and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
Valid state dental hygienist license.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in dental software, including Dentrix Ascend, and digital radiography.
Commitment to patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits:
Competitive salary; $45.00 - $52.00 / hr
