Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient patient flow. This role requires familiarity with dental terminology and administrative tasks, as well as proficiency in dental billing and phone etiquette.
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently.
Schedule appointments using Open Dental
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with regulations.
Process insurance claims, including Medicare, and assist patients with understanding their coverage.
Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining an organized front desk area.
Communicate effectively with dental staff to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to assist in patient education regarding treatments and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental office required
Strong administrative skills with a focus on attention to detail and organization.
Familiarity with dental coding and dental insurances is required
Knowledge of dental procedures is required
Knowledge of Open dental preferred.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
