Job Description
Smiles 4 Kids Pediatric Dental is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Sedation Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will provide sedation dentistry services to our pediatric patients one day per week, ensuring a comfortable and positive dental experience for children who may have dental anxiety, special needs, or require complex dental treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sedation procedures (oral, IV, or general anesthesia) on pediatric patients.
Collaborate with dental assistants, and other staff to ensure safe and effective sedation.
Maintain a calming and reassuring environment for both patients and their families.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and state regulations related to sedation dentistry.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents/guardians regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.
Requirements:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Active state dental license.
Certification in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred).
Sedation certification (IV, oral, or general anesthesia).
Previous experience working with pediatric patients under sedation.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
