General Dental Office Seeks Experienced Hygienist
We are an established general dental office located in Talladega, AL. We treat every patient like family and are known for our gentle, compassionate, accommodating, and friendly doctor and staff.
We are looking for an extremely enthusiastic, intelligent, and hard-working person for this role. The Dental Hygienist is the primary educator and preventive provider of the practice. An outgoing and friendly personality with exceptional customer service is A MUST! Prior experience will be required for this position.
Here are some of the duties that this position will be responsible for:

Providing exceptional customer service while providing treatment to patients
Taking accurate diagnostic records (xrays, intraoral & extraoral photos, full periodontal charting, etc)
Identify failing dental restorations, decay, fractured teeth, white spot lesions, open contacts, etc.
Educate patients based on treatment recommendations of Dr.
Clean calculus deposits and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums, including scaling and root planning procedures for patients with periodontal disease.
Summarize your findings to patients using visual tools and verbal skills to educate and motivate them.
Work chairside with Doctor as needed.
Assist in building trust and rapport with all patients.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in patient records.
Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team setting, displaying exception skill in time management in order to set and maintain own and subordinate procedure/task schedule.
