Registered Dental Hygienist Opportunity
We are a growing, privately owned dental practice in Jackson Michigan. We are expanding our practice and would like to add another assisted dental hygienist to our team!

About the position
Our practice serves patients of all ages and we expect our providers to be comfortable with a diverse patient population. This position entails all aspects of clinical dental hygiene including; adult and child prophylaxis, fluoride application, dental sealants, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, oral cancer screenings, digital radiography, and periodontal charting. It is important that our hygienists feel confident in recognizing and discussing periodontal disease with patients.

Paperless office, dental computer softwares, Carestack, Sota Imaging.Double monitor computer system, with a patient facing screen for ease of patient education and demonstrations.Digital scanners and intraoral cameras.Rinn X-ray universal system and Portable X-ray units.Periodontal charting software through Florida Probe: a voice operated, hands-free electronic system, used independently (no assistant required).Hygienists are equipped with all materials and devices for hygiene services like ultrasonic scalers, dry shields (if desired), Oraqix, Arestin, Peridex irrigation syringes, fluoride foam and varnish, and diode lasers.

Qualifications:
US work authorizationAssociate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited programCurrent Michigan Dental Hygienist License, BLS/CPR certificationKnowledge of HIPPA/OSHA practices and proceduresCertification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration (preferred)2 years of work experience (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
