We are a well-established general dentistry practice looking for an experienced full time DA or CDA. We are a team that prides ourselves on high quality dental care for our patients and support and respect for each other. Become part of a team approach to providing excellence in comprehensive dental care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction. The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentist, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between the dentist, patient and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
Dentrix (Preferred)
License:
Certified Dental Assistant (Preferred)
CPR (Required)
X-ray (Required)
Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for treatment
Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
Take radiographs
Provide postoperative instructions and patient education
Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
Perform other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
C.D.A. preferred
Strong verbal skills
Possess required certifications, license or registration as required by state
