Dental Hygienist - All Smiles Implants and Family Dental - La Crosse, WI

Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our patients by performing routine dental cleanings, preventive care, and assisting with the overall dental health of our community. Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement of teeth.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Assess patients’ oral health, documenting findings, and reporting concerns to the dentist.
Provide preventive dental care instructions to patients, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth.
Assist in the education of patients on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
Sterilize dental instruments and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Record and maintain patient charts in compliance with office protocols and regulations.
Stay current on industry trends and advances in dental hygiene practices.

Skills

Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems.
Knowledge of the latest dental hygiene practices and techniques.

Qualifications:

Valid and active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Wisconsin.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
CPR certification and other relevant certifications (e.g., Nitrous, local anesthesia if required).
Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently while providing top-quality care.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
