Overview:
Pay: $36 - $38 / Hour (based on experience)
Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Per Diem Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

Rotating locations: Lancaster PA , Mechanicsburg PA , York PA , Harrisburg , PA , Wyomissing PA
Schedule: Per diem
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
Take and develop dental X-rays
Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Provide excellent customer service and patient care
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania
Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
High school diploma or equivalent
Radiology certification
CPR certification
