Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a private , general dentistry practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in dental assisting, with knowledge of infection control practices and an understanding of general dentistry procedures.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage patient records using Eaglesoft.
Assist with prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and instruments as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and familiarity with general dentistry practices.
Proficiency in infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.05 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 â 40 per week
