Overview:

The Smile Shoppe Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical care and fostering a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients to the office, seating them, assisting the orthodontist during procedures, taking patient records, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

This is a part-time position up to 25 per week, willing to make full-time employment if willing to work at our Logan location.

Qualifications:

You will be required to possess the following:

Must have 1 year prior orthodontic experience
Proficiency in fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking accurate impressions
Good computer skills
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and strong attention to detail
Able to multitask and a quick learner
Ability to work well in a team
Must be willing to travel between multiple office locations
