Job Description

We're looking for a personable, efficient, experienced and patient-focused person to manage our front desk. 

Who We Are

Our office is a busy, quality-driven general dental practice in the West Valley. We like to do the right things the right way and have fun doing that. 

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced front office manager strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent Dentrix skills. Our ideal candidate will be able to perform all major front office tasks and strong insurance knowledge as we are an insurance-driven practice. You will not be the only front desk person, but should be capable of handling the front desk by yourself.

Responsibilities

    • Patient Reception:
      Welcoming patients upon arrival, verifying appointments, and directing them to the appropriate area. 
       
    • Phone Management:
      Answering incoming calls promptly, scheduling appointments, taking messages, and addressing inquiries about services and billing. 
       
    • Appointment Scheduling:
      Coordinating patient appointments, managing cancellations and rescheduling requests, and ensuring the dental schedule is optimized. 
       
    • Patient Registration:
      Collecting and updating patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and contact information. 
       
    • Financial Transactions:
      Processing payments, collecting co-pays, and handling insurance billing procedures. 
       
    • Record Keeping:
      Maintaining accurate patient records, updating dental charts, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. 
       
    • Office Administration:
      Managing office supplies, maintaining a clean reception area, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed. 
       
    Required Skills:
    • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficiency in Dentrix 
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
    • Basic understanding of dental terminology and insurance procedures
