Overview:
Renovo Prosthodontics is dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered dental care in a warm and professional environment. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. You will assist with patient care, manage dental records, and maintain a sterile environment while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Your contributions will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients and uphold the high standards of Renovo Prosthodontics.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing all necessary instruments and materials
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit, adhering to infection control protocols
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and the dental team
Perform tasks related to general dentistry, including taking X-rays, impressions, and assisting with 3D scanning when required
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout the practice
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and maintain an organized filing system for medical documentation
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care as directed by the dentist
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve office efficiency
Experience:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and medical coding is highly desirable
Proficiency in using dental systems for managing medical records is advantageous
Experience with is a plus but not required; training will be provided as necessary
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
