Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and dental terminology.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Experience

Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental terminology is essential.
Previous experience in dental assisting or related fields is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical coding will be an advantage.
Experience working with children in a pediatric setting is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
