Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, as required.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software and ensure all documentation is completed timely.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when needed, including answering phones and checking patients in/out.
Uphold strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and general dentistry principles.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and prosthodontics procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and team members.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
