Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving patients and committed to providing exceptional dental care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Provide chairside assistance to ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout their dental appointments.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by dentists.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care techniques.
Perform dental charting and documentation accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including treatment rooms and operatories.
Collaborate with other members of the dental team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a dental setting is highly desirable.
High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course
Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks
Current CPR
Proficiency in oral and written communication in English
