We are seeking someone who is a team player whose primary responsibility is to prepare the examination rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. Assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment. Update and keep clientâs dental records.
We are a remarkably busy office and will thrive with a team member that works well in a fast pace office who can multitask while under pressure.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical imaging and assist with radiographic procedures as needed.
Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in coordination with the dental receptionist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and addressing
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures is essential.
Familiarity with prosthodontics is a plus.
Experience with medical records management is beneficial.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform tasks efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training programs is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 40 per week
