OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, including four-handed dentistry, and familiarity with Periodontic dentistry. The Surgical Assistant will work closely with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during surgical procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Prepare and maintain the surgical area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in diagnostic and treatment planning.
Manage medical records and documentation accurately to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information regarding procedures and post-operative care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the surgical suite, adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a focus on surgical assistance.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is essential.
Knowledge of periodontics
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and systems.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
