Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to assist in various dental specialties including endodontics.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Take patient histories and record vital signs as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in medical terminology.
Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, and assist with imaging procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records using Oryx software (training will be provided), including scheduling appointments and handling medical coding as needed.
Provide support in the front office as a dental receptionist when required, ensuring smooth operations within the practice.

Skills

Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Ability to manage patient interactions effectively, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
