Dental Assistant - Norwood Dental Care - Hadley, MA

Overview
Looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team here in Norwood. We are a General Dentistry practice providing an ever-growing wide range of dental services. Our ideal candidate would have prior dental assistant experience, but we are open to training the right candidate.
Duties

Assist Dentist during examinations and various dental procedures
Treatment room breakdown and preparation. Including sterilization of the operatory and instruments
Walking patients to and from the treatment rooms
Communicating with patients the general overview of treatment plan and post op instructions
Prioritizing patient safety and aseptic techniques
Performing radiographs, photographs, alginate impressions

Qualifications

Previous experience preferred, but recent graduates encouraged to apply
Certified Dental Assistant license
General knowledge of dental procedures
Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental, etc)
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical documentation
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred
Be able to work in a collaborative and professional environment

Office Schedule
We anticipate this position will work 4 days per week, we can be flexible on preferred days for the right candidate.

Monday 12 pm – 8 pm
Tuesday 12 pm – 8 pm
Wednesday 9 am – 5 pm
Thursday 7:30 am – 3 pm
Friday 7:30 am – 1 pm

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29 – 32 per week
