Position Open for a Full Time Dental Assistant
Join our Valley View Dental Team!! We have served the immediate and surrounding communities of Romeoville, Naperville, and Montgomery, IL, for 25 years! We are seeking motivated, friendly and professional individuals excited about dentistry. Our office is focused on the care of our patients and providing them with the best dental experience possible by hiring great team players and utilizing the latest in technology. Ultimately our new team member will be responsible for providing our patient's with high quality care by performing a variety of office and patient care duties.
The ideal candidate will be Coronal Polishing Certified and have excellent customer service and patient care skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Experience working with Orthodontics and Invisalign is also a plus.
The schedule requires to work some evenings and every other Saturday.
Qualification Requirements:
Coronal Polishing Certification (preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during their appointment
Proficiency in basic computer skills and dental software (preferably Dentrix Ascend)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Orthodontic experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Prepares and provides treatment for patients according to physicianâs protocols, regulations, and procedures
Explains treatment plans and procedures to patients and or their families in a way that is simple, understandable, and positive
Prepares and sterilizes dental instruments and equipment
Obtains diagnostic information including taking radiographs, intra oral pictures and iTero scans
Assists doctors in dental procedures, such as, restorative, endodontic and surgical treatments
Documents medical and dental history into patient charts
Collaborates with team members to provide quality patient care.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
