Job Description
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform dental charting and documentation- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures- Familiarity with medical terminology, systems, and coding- Proficiency in dental documentation software (e.g., Open Dental, CAD)- Experience with dental radiography and imaging techniques- Second language :Spanish is a Plus .- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
