Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills.
Duties

Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and adherence to infection control protocols.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately using Open Dental systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Assist in the preparation of materials for prosthodontics and general dentistry procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinic.
Perform digital and traditional impressions for dentures, crowns, Invisalign, etc

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Speak English (or at least be able to understand and talk) and Spanish
Knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting is essential.
Proficient in using Open Dental software.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
