Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant to support our dental team and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, and creating a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Prepare and review patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the office calendar.
Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with infection control protocols.
Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred.
Certification as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) preferred.
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is a plus.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and understanding radiographic safety.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with dental practice management software- Open Dental
Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
