Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our well established dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. A willingness to temp in the front office on rare occasion is a plus. We are a family oriented practice with an excellent reputation of over 30 years thanks to our personalized care! We do not adhere to the fast paced, insurance based models of dentistry and expect the utmost level of care and customer service for our patients.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform medical imaging tasks, including X-rays and 3D scanning, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records and ensure compliance with dental terminology standards.
Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and sterilization areas.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow infection control protocols.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Available Mon, Tues, Wed 8:00am-4:00pm

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.98 - $30.00 per hour
