OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop X-rays as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize 3D scanners for precise imaging and modeling.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
Schedule appointments and assist with front office duties as needed, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively communicate with the dental team.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with endodontics and general dentistry practices is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental technology, including 3D scanners and X-ray equipment.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
