Job Summary:We are state of arts office seeking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatories for dental procedures- Take and develop dental X-rays- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:The successful candidate should have experience in the following areas:- Dental assisting- Working with Open Dental software prefer but not a must- Knowledge of medical terminology- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Experience in using X-Ray and 3D scanner equipment- Previous work as a dental receptionist is a plus
