Job Description
**Overview:** Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about dentistry and patient care. **Duties:** - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. - Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort. - Sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines. - Take and develop dental X-rays. - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies. - Maintain accurate patient records. **Skills:** - Proficiency in medical terminology. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. - Understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques. - Familiarity with dental systems and medical coding. - Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. - Previous training in dental assisting or medical imaging. - Ability to assess patient needs effectively.
