Job Description
Kids First Pediatric Dentistry is looking for the right person to join our team! We are an established privately owned dental practice looking for an individual who is energetic with a positive attitude and who works efficiently and effectively to work in our insurance department.
Responsibilities:
-Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, coverage options and policy changes then transfer those benefits onto spreadsheets.
-Connecting with insurance providers to obtain the necessary information needed to ensure benefits are correctly inputted into our system.
-Communicating with parents to clarify or answer insurance and or billing questions.
-Able to understand and explain dental insurance plan benefits as needed.
-Able to understand patients accounts, billing and claims.
-Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications:
-Basic knowledge of dental benefits and breakdowns
-Proficient with computer skills including Excel and Microsoft
-Able to work efficiently and independently in a team environment and on your own.
-Punctual, reliable, organized, willingness to learn and attendance is very important.
-The ability to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
-Strong customer services skills.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
-previous insurance verification âhighly preferred
-Previous dental software knowledge-highly preferred
-Willing to train the right person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
