Role Overview:
The Treatment Coordinator at JBL NYC will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by optimizing scheduling, supporting the patient journey, and coordinating treatments seamlessly. This individual will serve as the critical liaison between patients and providers, ensuring smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and high-quality care delivery. As part of a high-performing, multi-doctor practice, the Treatment Coordinator must be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing a world-class patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Optimized Scheduling: Coordinate and optimize scheduling for multiple providers to ensure maximum efficiency while prioritizing the patient’s experience.
Patient Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans, addressing questions, and ensuring clear communication.
Treatment Planning: Collaborate with providers to present treatment plans, educate patients on procedures, and ensure understanding of timelines, costs, and follow-up care.
Financial Coordination: Discuss financial arrangements with patients, ensuring they understand their options for payment plans, insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket expenses.
Hospitality-Driven Care: Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for every patient, ensuring all interactions reflect JBL’s high standards of hospitality.
Administrative Support: Manage and maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and follow-up schedules in practice management software.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with front desk, clinical teams, and management to maintain seamless patient workflows and a positive work environment.
Performance Metrics: Monitor scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction, ensuring alignment with practice goals and KPIs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Treatment Coordinator or in a similar patient-facing role in the dental or healthcare field (3+ years preferred).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in practice management software and scheduling systems.
Experience in financial discussions with patients, including insurance and payment plans.
High energy, professional demeanor, and a passion for delivering unparalleled patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a high-performing, multi-doctor environment.
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and treatment planning preferred.
