Dental Assistant - Alford Pediatric & General Dentistry - Reno, NV

Alford Pediatric & General Dentistry is a well-established dental office providing exceptional care to our patients. We are committed to making every visit a comfortable and positive experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Take dental X-rays.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and preventive treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with patient scheduling.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as necessary.
Provide excellent patient care with a friendly, positive attitude.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assistant certification preferred.
Previous dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and safety protocols.
Proficiency in dental software and record management systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Office Hours; Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
