Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort, and promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling.
Maintain infection control standards and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
Document medical history and update patient records accurately, including medical coding as necessary.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Skills
Proficient in using Dentrix and other dental software applications.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health needs.
Ability to work effectively in a dental clinic or office environment.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques related to dental diagnostics is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
