Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in our dental practice. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in assisting with general dentistry procedures and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients, ensuring optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Conduct medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour
