Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort, as well as proficiency in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatment plans and progress.
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
Take and record vital signs as necessary to monitor patient health.
Operate dental equipment and systems, including Eaglesoft software for patient management.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on creating a comfortable experience for patients.
Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain hygiene standards in the clinical setting.
Experience or interest in pediatrics, with the ability to engage with younger patients effectively.
Familiarity with dental systems such as Dentrix for managing patient records and appointments.
Knowledge of adult dentistry practices is preferred but not required.
Ability to accurately document medical records and treatment plans.
Understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Competence in taking vital signs and assisting during dental procedures.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
