Job Description
Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist . We are seeking a skilled professional who is passionate about dental health and patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the supervision of the dentist- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Perform dental charting and update medical records using electronic systems- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain a clean and sterile environment using aseptic techniques- Assist with pediatric patients in a friendly and compassionate manner
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Active state license to practice dental hygiene- Proficiency in medical documentation and knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and assisting in dental procedures- Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic systems is advantageous
