Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care instructions.
Utilize dental software such for documentation and scheduling.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license
Proficiency in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with dental software
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Ability to assess patient needs
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and medical imaging techniques
Bilingual - Spanish is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
