Job Summary We are seeking a full-time qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist who wants long-term, stable employment to join our team! We are a high quality, highly regarded, busy dental practice that has been located in Eastwood since 1955. Computer skills are necessary and experience with Eaglesoft software is preferred. Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Accurately record medical histories
Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
Teach good oral hygiene techniques
Take x-rays
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
Current Dental Hygienist license
At least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
Excellent communication and customer service skills
