Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist during various procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy using appropriate techniques and tools.
Conduct thorough examinations of patientsâ oral health, including assessing gum health and identifying potential issues.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary choices that affect dental health.
Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic protocols.
Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry during procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment within the dental clinic.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of general dentistry principles and practices.
Familiarity with dental systems, medical records management, and coding is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient service.
