Job Description
The Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) is responsible for providing preventive dental care and oral health education to the community with a focus on underserved populations. The ideal dental hygienist will have a strong commitment to public health and a passion for improving the oral health of the community.
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Responsibilities:
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Screen patients for oral health problems and refer them to dentists for further treatment
Develop and implement oral health education programs for the community
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve the oral health of the community
Participate in research and evaluation activities to assess the effectiveness of oral health programs
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Requirements:
COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters
Reliable personal vehicle
Valid State driver's license
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to pass a motor vehicle report (clean driving record required)
Ability to treat medically compromised patients
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Job-Type & Schedule:
Full-Time, 4 days per week
Monday-Friday work days
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
State Registered Dental Hygienist/Dental Hygiene license
Strong commitment to public health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Compensation & Benefits Package:
Hourly rate: $60.00/hr (Highly negotiable)
