OverviewRegistered Dental Hygienist needed for our pediatric dental practice. This is a fun, friendly, and busy practice that has grown over the last 30 years. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for our pediatric patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
Document patient medical records accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.

Skills

Strong background in patient care with a focus on comfort and education.
Experience or interest in pediatrics and pediatric dentistry is a must.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Knowledge of dental systems, particularly Softdent, is a plus.
