We are a small one doctor private practice. We have a low-stress and healthy work environment. We appreciate someone who can work well with others and has excellent verbal skills and great communication. We are seeking a dental hygienist who is friendly, energetic, and reliable. You should have the ability to work well in a small team and make connections with patients.
As a dental hygienist at our practice, you will treat patients of all ages. This includes prophy's, perio maintenance, SRP’s, taking radiographs, set-up/tear-down of rooms, and sterilization. Dental hygienists see one patient per hour for prophys and perio maintenance. You will see an average of 8 patients per day. We also know that this is your schedule. There is room for changes to accommodate your needs. Dr. Varley believes that the hygienist is his partner and supports them in all they do.
This can be a full- time or part-time position M-F with benefits.
Responsibilities:
- A valid Registered Dental Hygienist license to practice in Colorado
- Proficiency with Dentrix software (willing to train)
- A patient and friendly personality
- Maintain patient records and charts
- Assist the dentist in providing treatment
- Perform dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Clean and polish teeth using various tools
