Job Description
Our growing dental practice is looking for a full-time dental hygienist to join our team. Days worked are M, T, W and F for a total of approximately 32-33 hrs/week, although part-time seekers may also apply. Competitive pay is based on experience. Our practice has 2 doctors and a healthy hygiene department. Our dental hygienists are expected to perform routine dental cleanings on patients of all ages as well as scaling and root planing procedures on certain patients. Other duties include updating medical histories, patient education, placing sealants, charting dental conditions, instrument sterilization, and taking X-rays.
Candidates are required to be licensed in the state of Illinois, CPR certified, have excellent communication skills, get along well with others, and have great time management skills. Previous experience in a private practice setting is preferred but not required.
