Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. The RDH will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper dental care practices.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient documentation and record management.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist.
Provide education on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in medical records.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on medical coding and terminology relevant to dental procedures.
Skills
Proficient in operating within a dental office environment.
Familiarity with Curve Hero or similar dental management software.
Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques.
Knowledgeable in pediatric dentistry practices.
Excellent attention to detail for documentation review and medical records management.
Ability to accurately assess vital signs and understand their implications for dental care.
Competent in medical coding practices related to dental services.
Strong grasp of medical terminology as it pertains to dentistry.
