Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist and contribute to providing exceptional oral care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled professional who is passionate about dental health and patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and debridement- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-operative instructions- Conduct dental screenings and assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix Ascend- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations- Strong communication skills and ability to assist in CAD procedures
