Job SummaryDental Hygienist position available at a general dental office in Metamora, Ill. We are looking for a part-time position here at Metamora Family Dental. The job is for 2 or 3 days a week. Applicants should be caring towards patients, competent in all dental hygiene treatments & procedures, as well as licensed in the state of Illinois. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings/SRP and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take radiographs as needed.
Record patient medical histories and any relevant information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advances in dental care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong background in general and pediatric dentistry.
Knowledge of infection control practices and regulations is essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 24 per week
