**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our dental office. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and assist in maintaining the oral health of our patients. **Duties:**
- Provide dental hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing, under the supervision of a dentist.
- Conduct oral hygiene assessments and take necessary radiographs to diagnose and treat oral health issues.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and other preventive measures to maintain patient oral health.
- Use medical terminology to communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Document patient records and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement and maintain infection control procedures in the dental office.
- Assist dentists with procedures and provide support during dental treatments.
- Provide pediatric dentistry care to young patients and educate them on oral hygiene practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental terminology and techniques to provide the best possible patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, adhering to dental office standards.
**Requirements:**
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene or a related field.
- Current licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology.
- Experience in a dental office environment.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office policies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
