Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess and record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with dental regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Stay current with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but we also welcome new graduates.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Experience working with pediatric patients is great.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
