Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated , friendly and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and infection control procedures. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper dental care.
Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations.
Clean teeth and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment
Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Stay updated on medical terminology and coding relevant to dental practices.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of dental assisting practices is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and medical coding is advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry.
